License Key
Installation requires a license key. If you do not already have a license key please generate a key. Downloading Izenda Reports
The first step is downloading Izenda Reports. Izenda provides an automated installation on common environments utilizing a windows installer, as well as a ZIP version for manual installation. Before building your first report, we need to setup the web server and then connect to your database. By default, installing Izenda Reports does not alter your database in any way.
Automated Installation
Izenda recommends the automated installer if all of the following describes your environments: - Installation on a non-production, staging or development server
- Automated installation requires both Microsoft .NET 1.1 and .NET 2.0 installed
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005
- Windows 2003 Sever or Windows XP SP2
After running the installer, continue to Basic Configuration.
Manual Installation
Izenda recommends a manual installation for all other environments: - Installation on a non-production, staging or development server
- Oracle, DB2 or MySQL
- Windows 2000 or Windows Vista Business or Ultimate
- Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0, 3.0 or 3.5
After downloading, please extract the folder containing files for your language and .NET version to your machine. Izenda also provides an installation video which illustrates a complete manual installation.
After extracting the files from the zip, continue to Web Server Setup.
